Looking back in recent history you find remarks that seem outrageously stupid with hindsight, like how many personal computers the world would need, and so on. So everything evolves, learning evolves, shared mental maps evolve, so in 40 years, with hindsight we will look stupid to ourselves again. this is especially true if you consider how little we know about the unknown unknowns, like trillions of Bacteria we have not studied, and other phenomena like smell and photosynthesis that we do not fully comprehend yet as per Prof Michael Brooks in “13 things that don’t make sense”. So I believe our understanding of the Person and perceptions and learning will change and with that the way it is measured and perceived.
